Bond Services opened its doors in 1974. Twenty years later, principals John Rough and Chris Haenel founded a second firm, California Civil and Judicial Bonding, in order to diversify the business. Recently this company was brought under the management of Bond Services.
In 2002, working to acquire the best resources in other parts of the state, Bond Services joined with Northern California's most influential bond agency, Van Bokkelen Bonds & Insurance Agency, managers of the historic Phil Simpson Agency.
One year later, San Diego County's premier bond agency, Davis Bonding, Inc. joined the team as well to link up all of California and establish a cohesive and strong network of agents to serve the needs of all our customers.
Bond Services expanded to Texas & Arizona.
